My name is Jessie Munson and I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Political Science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I study American politics focusing predominantly on political institutions and representation. More specifically, I seek to better understand how legislators handle competing incentives in order to serve their constituents and be reelected.Â
